- A V9000 consists of a minimum of 2 x AC3 controllers and 1 x AE3 storage enclosure, and a maximum of 8 x AC3 controllers and 8 x AE3 storage enclosures
- FC# AF3V allows an additional pair of AC3 nodes to be ordered for an existing system
- FC# AF3W allows a single AC3 node to be ordered for use as a hot spare node
- V9000 controller model AC3 has eight slots that are used for the following features:
- 16Gb FC and 10 Gb Ethernet Cards (feature numbers #AF44 and #AH12)
- SAS Expansion Enclosure Attach Card (feature number #AH13)
